Back-to-back bookings leave no room for guesswork. One missed detail — a hair in the shower, an empty soap dispenser, a stained pillowcase — and you're looking at a 4-star review instead of a 5. Over time, that adds up.
This checklist is what we use for every Airbnb turnover we handle. It's built for speed (most turnovers take 4–4.5 hours) and covers the details that guests actually notice and mention in reviews.
Kitchen
- ✓Wipe all countertops, backsplash, and cabinet fronts
- ✓Clean stovetop, burners, and drip pans
- ✓Wipe microwave inside and out
- ✓Clean refrigerator exterior and handles (check inside for leftover food)
- ✓Run and empty dishwasher — wipe interior if needed
- ✓Scrub sink and polish faucet (no water spots)
- ✓Wipe small appliances (coffee maker, toaster, etc.)
- ✓Mop floors and wipe baseboards
- ✓Restock dish soap, sponge, trash bags, and paper towels
- ✓Take out all trash and replace liners
Bathrooms
- ✓Scrub shower/tub walls, corners, and grout lines
- ✓Clean and disinfect toilet (base, behind, around bolts)
- ✓Wipe vanity, drawers, and mirror (streak-free)
- ✓Replace used towels with fresh, folded sets
- ✓Restock toilet paper (at least 2 rolls visible), hand soap, and shampoo/conditioner
