Sara's story
Built from survival, love and determination.
Sara's first job was waitressing, and she cleaned houses on the side while rebuilding her life after homelessness and abuse. Determined to support her children and create a safer future, she began growing the cleaning work into Shelton's Janitorial.
From houses to construction trailers, the work kept growing. Eventually Sara completed the cleaning of a 216,000-square-foot building three times for an Army Corps of Engineers project—a distance she once could not have imagined traveling.
Today, that same strength guides a company committed to dependable service and creating opportunities that help other women support their families and rebuild their own independence.
